Margo Simpson, PMHNP-BC, is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with more than 20 years of nursing experience across a variety of healthcare settings, including inpatient psychiatric care. She provides psychiatric evaluation, medication management, and supportive psychotherapy for children, adolescents, and adults experiencing a wide range of mental health conditions.
Margo has experience treating anxiety disorders, depression, ADHD, bipolar disorder, trauma-related conditions, mood disorders, and other complex psychiatric concerns. Her clinical background includes psychiatric crisis management, interdisciplinary collaboration, and developing individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s unique needs and goals.
She believes effective mental health care begins with listening, building trust, and treating the whole person rather than focusing only on symptoms. Margo is committed to creating a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where patients feel heard, respected, and actively involved in their care.
Margo earned her Master of Science in Nursing, Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner degree from the University of North Alabama.
